4 hours of picketing plus another 3 or more hours of rallies every afternoon takes a lot out of you after 4 days. I woke this morning sore and disheartened. Halfway through the picket a little boy and his mom set up on the side of our line. He began passing out these bags to all of the teacher. He and his mom packed up small baggies of Epsom Salt so we could soak our feet and rest when we were done for the day. Though I was still tired and sore I was reminded of why we are doing this and was filled with hope and the energy to keep going!

How awesome!
